To peeople who have hunting dogs like coon hounds and go hunting with them?

I have a question. Do u ever get afraid they will get lost in the woods or wherever you're hunting? If you don't, why not? And if you do what are you thinking? (I don't mean that in a mean way.)To peeople who have hunting dogs like coon hounds and go hunting with them?
I do boar hunting and large game hunting with italian mastiffs and they wear a protective flare vest with a trafficing beeper on it...not to mention commands that they know which means for the them to return to me.....To peeople who have hunting dogs like coon hounds and go hunting with them?
Most hunting dogs are trained to do what they are supposed to do. Ex. tree the coon, bay until owner shows up, stay at the tree.

The dogs have different bays/barks for different situations. The owners can tell if they have treed a coon, have lost it at the waters edge, have lost the scent totally, have picked up the scent again, etc.

I'm sure every hunter worries about losing their dogs. That's why they train them to come when called and leave a trail if they are called. Sometimes dogs do get lost, but usually find their way home or back to the camp.
Hunting dogs often get lost in the woods. That is one of the reasons that hunters would use tracking collars (which are now outlawed in most states). But those dogs are also trained to bay when they are on the scent of prey, so the hunter is able to track them by hearing them.
My dogs are close-ranging *%26amp;* come when they're called! Ain't that magical?

Those w/big-running dogs use LOCATOR collars....tiny radios.
