Is everyone winding down for the summer - the emails and calls seem to have dried up!Is this a bad time of year to be job hunting in the UK?
a level students and also degree students are looking for job now, i say its a bad time, September onwards should be goodIs this a bad time of year to be job hunting in the UK?
I'd say when school leavers and college leavers are also all looking for work. End of July - late August.





October tends to be better as many places start taking on seasonal staff for Christmas. Especially hotels, bars, restaurants and shops.
If you need a job then you need a job! I'm looking for one too (just finished college) and it does seem kind of tough, but I can't afford to hang around for a few months.
All the new graduates and school leavers enter the job market in June, so that makes it a bad time.
