Check the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission website for interactive maps to help locate some hunting areas. Outdoor reports I believe are available too on the site if you search.
If you'd visit a sporting goods store in Nebraska, they often have free CRP hunting map books which provide great detail as to where CRP, Wildlife Management and State Rec Areas are located county to county. They also usually carry free Game and Parks Commission guide books which help specify locations and regulations as well.
I live in southeast NE and G%26amp;P has several public hunting grounds within 20 miles of my house. Also a lot of people around here will let you go hunting if you are polite and ask permission. Also check out NE Game and Parks website for public and crp hunting grounds.
